Indiana High School Volleyball - Merrillville tips Hobart

September 3, 2025: Merrillville, IN 46410

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Merrillville Pirates volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Hobart Brickies.

The Pirates (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Vikings enter the Duneland challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Valparaiso was tipped by Chesterton (Chesterton, IN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Brickies now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrean for a Northwest Crossroads test on Thursday, September 4. Hobart will face a Fighting 59ers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Munster (Munster, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 4-9.
