A return to the old Continental Lg, Gateway and Littleton played a quality match with proper defending , attacking, with Littleton taing the advantage of play and opportunity. Littleton opened the scoring with a penetrating ball to a forward who laid it off to a crossing midfielder, who horizontally dribbled, and was able to float a shot past the keeper. Gateway followed with a great individual effort by their frwd to challenge a defender, cause a bad play, and attack the goal, with a slotted shot past into the net. Halftime was met with lightening and delay tied 1-1. Gateway scored next with a give and go up the center through the defense and with a great one time finisher for the Gateway Mid. With time winding down and Gateway under duress, Littleton pressed for shots and chances. They took advantage on a Corner to head home an equalizer. Into Overtime, Gateway provided an opportunity by not clearing the ball, leaving a shot open for Littleton to bury for the dramatic win.
