The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) and the visiting Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE), saw South Platte's football team bounce Paxton by a final score of 50-7.

With the win, South Platte advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blue Knights travel to Wallace (Wallace, NE) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wallace won 48-12 in their recent non-league match against Creek Valley (Chappell, NE)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Minatare Indians (Minatare, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Paxton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 43-24 non-league win over Banner County (Harrisburg, NE).
