California High School Flag Football - Wheatland over River Valley

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA) and the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), witnessed Wheatland's flag football squad knock off River Valley by a tally of 32-13.

The Pirates (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings enter the Pioneer Valley League contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Oakmont was toppled by Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA), 19-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Falcons battle the Antelope Titans (Antelope, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, September 17. River Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
