Illinois High School Soccer - Lyons knocks off Benet Academy
September 4, 2025: LaGrange, IL 60525 Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lyons advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Fremd (Palatine, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-3. Fremd lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL)
With the loss, Benet Academy moves to 2-2 on the year. The Redwings host Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to face the Red Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, September 6.
