New Jersey High School Soccer - Ocean Township knocks off Matawan Regional

In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Ocean Township Spartans soccer team scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Matawan Regional Huskies.

With the triumph, Ocean Township advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ) to clash with the Bucs in a Shore B - North outing on Saturday, September 6. The Bucs go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Red Bank Regional 2-2 in their recent league outing against St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ)

Next up, the Huskies play the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 6. Matawan Regional will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Lancers go into the outing with a 0-0 record after their 2-2 league Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).
