Alabama High School Volleyball - Pensacola Area Homeschool overwhelmed by Atmore Christian
September 4, 2025: Atmore, AL 36502 Atmore Christian Rams (Atmore, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pensacola Area Homeschool Phoenix (Pensacola, FL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Atmore Christian improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Pensacola Christian Academy (Pensacola, FL) to face the Warriors in a Independent test on Friday, September 5. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 3-3.
Next, the Phoenix meet the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a test, on Tuesday, September 9. Pensacola Area Homeschool will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
Match Summary
Today, against the Lady Rams, our fully staffed Phoenix squad had a good bounceback from our previous match at SBCA. Our girls had an excellent serving night, at around 90% between JV and Varsity. Our passing and attacking game recovered, and we were able to make plays against the Rams. We also continued to build our blocking game. On the flip side, our team struggled mightily most of the night with the toughest hit in the game, that is, our serve receive! This will be a work in progress for the team as we make our way through the season, with our eye on next year to get to the next level in this area.
