In Thursday's non-league match, the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) volleyball squad overcame the host Carl Hayden Community Falcons (Phoenix, AZ), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Fighting Lobos clash with the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 8. La Joya Community will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
