September 4, 2025: Destrehan, LA 70047 The Destrehan Wildcats prevailed the visiting Covenant Christian Academy Lions volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Destrehan will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Covenant Christian Academy drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a Division V District 6 bout on Thursday, September 4. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Hanson Memorial won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against V.B. Glencoe Charter (Franklin, LA)
