North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Stanly over Gray Stone Day
September 4, 2025: New London, NC 28127 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), observed North Stanly's volleyball team top Gray Stone Day by a count of 3-1.
The Comets (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the Yadkin Valley 2A/3A contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, South Stanly notched a victory over North Rowan (Spencer, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Knights battle the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Gray Stone Day will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.
