Iowa High School Football - Kuemper tops Algona
September 5, 2025: Algona, IA 50511 The Kuemper Knights football squad scored 52 points and limited the host Algona Bulldogs to 21 in the Knights non-league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Knights face the Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Kuemper will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 20-13 non-league win over Clarinda (Clarinda, IA).
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Forest City went down by Charles City (Charles City, IA), 19-15, in a non-league test.
