The Cypress Springs Panthers football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Alief Taylor Lions to 14 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jersey Village for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Cypress Springs will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 54-3 non-league loss to Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Alief Taylor drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to face the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13.
