The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Ford Panthers (Quinlan, TX) and the visiting Community Braves (Nevada, TX), witnessed Ford's football squad topple Community by a count of 49-20.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Spring Hill was outscored by Center (Center, TX), 62-15, in a non-league battle.

The Braves now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Sanger for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Community will encounter a Indians team coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
