Georgia High School Football - Covington Academy topped by New Creation Christian Academy
September 5, 2025: McDonough, GA 30252 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders (McDonough, GA) and the visiting Covington Academy Bulldogs (Covington, GA), witnessed New Creation Christian Academy's football squad topple Covington Academy by a tally of 31-6.
The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harvester Christian Academy (Douglasville, GA). The Hawks enter the GAPPS AA Region 2 (9 Man) contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Harvester Christian Academy thwarted Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS (Griffin, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 12. Covington Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The LIONS go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 38-13 league win over Hearts Academy (Powder Springs, GA).
