September 5, 2025: Cayuga, IN 47928

In Friday's league game, the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) football team overcame the host North Vermillion Falcons (Cayuga, IN), by a tally of 44-14.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) in a Wabash River outing, on Friday, September 12. Covington will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 34-7 league loss to Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN).

With the defeat, North Vermillion drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to South Vermillion (Clinton, IN) to battle the Wildcats in a Wabash River contest on Friday, September 12.
