October 17, 2025: Montezuma, IN 47862

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) and the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), witnessed Riverton Parke's football squad wallop Covington by a tally of 52-6.

The Panthers (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, North Vermillion was trounced by Seeger (West Lebanon, IN), 49-13, in a league contest.

Next up, the Trojans encounter the North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 24. Covington will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 39-21 league win over Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN).
