Old Bridge Knights (Old Bridge, NJ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ), 28-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Old Bridge advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ) to play the Chiefs in a Big Central - National Gold battle on Friday, September 12. The Chiefs go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Piscataway lost 34-27 in their recent non-league battle against Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ)

The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Sayreville for a Big Central - National Silver battle on Friday, September 12. Edison will play a Bombers team coming off a 28-14 non-league win over Linden (Linden, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 2-0.
