Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 35-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Johnson advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Atomsmashers travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a AAA Region 3 match on Friday, September 12. The Yellow Jackets come into the match with a record of 1-2. Southeast Bulloch lost 28-24 in their recent league match against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA)

Coming up next, the Sharks confront the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) in a AAA Region 3 match, on Friday, September 12. Islands will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 50-20 league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA).
