The North Rowan Cavaliers football team (Spencer, NC), was tipped 30-26 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC)

With the win, Lake Norman Charter advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Knights host Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Forestview lost 22-19 in their recent non-league battle against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC)

The Cavaliers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A match on Friday, September 19.
