Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 35-0 in a league match.

The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles come into the Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Lincoln Charter was routed by Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 35-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A match, on Friday, September 26. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Pride come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 49-7 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
