North Carolina High School Football - Lincoln Charter overwhelmed by Corvian Community

September 26, 2025: Denver, NC 28037

In Friday's league outing, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) football squad trounced the host Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC), by a margin of 52-6.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Lake Prep for a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A game on Friday, October 3. Corvian Community will battle a Pride team coming off a 20-7 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Pride record now stands at 1-5.

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC). The Lions go into the Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Langtree Charter Academy was crushed by Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 42-0, in a non-league bout.
