Arizona High School Football - Mountainside nudges Lincoln Prep

In Friday's non-league match, the host Mountainside Wolves football squad scored a close 37-30 victory over the Lincoln Prep Lightning.

The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons enter the 2A Metro 4 match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Veritas Prep got by Antelope (Wellton, AZ), 43-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Lightning confront the Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Lincoln Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Dons enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 48-6 non-league loss to ALA - Anthem South (Florence, AZ).
