The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting Pace Academy Knights (Atlanta, GA), witnessed Lovett's football squad topple Pace Academy by a count of 16-0.

The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA). The Warriors go into the AA Region 5 battle with a 3-1 record.

The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mays for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Friday, September 12. Pace Academy will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Douglass (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-3.
