The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) and the visiting Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), witnessed McCool Junction's football squad wallop Twin River by a final score of 62-12.

With the win, McCool Junction advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Freeman (Adams, NE) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Freeman won 39-22 in their recent non-league bout against Tri County (DeWitt, NE)

The Titans now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heartland for a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. Twin River will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 68-6 non-league loss to Sutton (Sutton, NE). The Huskies record now stands at 0-2.
