North Carolina High School Football - Weddington trounces Monroe

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Weddington Warriors football team scored a big 49-7 win over the Monroe Redhawks.

In their next game, the Warriors play the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Weddington will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 56-12 non-league win over Asheville (Asheville, NC).

The Redhawks (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Sun Valley triumphed over Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 45-0, in a non-league test.
