The St. Joseph Flyers football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Palacios Sharks to 21 in the Flyers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Flyers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mathis for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. St. Joseph will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 33-15 non-league loss to George West (George West, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Palacios drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Sharks host Danbury (Danbury, TX) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Danbury won 36-8 in their recent non-league test against Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX)
