The Saucon Valley Panthers football team (Hellertown, PA), dropped 19-6 in Friday's league bout with the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA)

With the win, Palmerton advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Blue Bombers host Lehighton (Lehighton, PA) to confront the Indians in a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Lehighton lost 21-20 in their recent league contest against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA)

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - B contest, on Friday, September 12. Saucon Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 21-20 non-league win over North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA).
