The Shippensburg Greyhounds football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Waynesboro Indians to 21 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmyra for a Mid-Penn - Keystone test on Friday, September 12. Shippensburg will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Hershey (Hershey, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Waynesboro drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Red Land (Lewisberry, PA) to play the Patriots in a Mid-Penn - Keystone challenge on Friday, September 12. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Red Land won 48-34 in their recent league challenge against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA)
