Red Land Patriots (Lewisberry, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA), 23-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Red Land advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Palmyra (Palmyra, PA) to play the Cougars in a Mid-Penn - Keystone battle on Friday, October 17. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Palmyra won 43-35 in their recent league battle against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA)

The Greyhounds now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Northern York for a Mid-Penn - Keystone match on Friday, October 17. Shippensburg will meet a Polar Bears squad coming off a 42-14 league loss to Hershey (Hershey, PA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-8.
