California High School Football - Trabuco Hills defeats St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Trabuco Hills Mustangs (Mission Viejo, CA) and the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA), witnessed Trabuco Hills's football squad topple St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy by a count of 29-20.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against El Toro (Lake Forest, CA). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, El Toro overcame El Dorado (Placentia, CA), 28-21, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Newbury Park for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will play a Panthers team coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Pacifica (Oxnard, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
