The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO) and the visiting Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE), saw Sterling's softball squad beat Bayard by a score of 19-5.

With the triumph, Sterling improves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Wellington (Wellington, CO) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Wellington won 10-6 in their recent non-league bout against Platte Valley (Kersey, CO)
