The Fossil Ridge SaberCats softball team (Fort Collins, CO), was routed 13-1 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE)

The Mustangs (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm go into the A District bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Elkhorn South knocked off Mercy (Omaha, NE), 14-0, in a non-league contest.

The SaberCats now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. Fossil Ridge will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-2.
