In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Crane Pirates volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Blue Eye Bulldogs.

With the win, Crane improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Seneca (Seneca, MO) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Indians go into the test with a record of 0-6. Seneca lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Conway (Conway, MO)

The Bulldogs now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheaton for a Class 1 District 9 test on Monday, September 8. Blue Eye will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Southwest (Washburn, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
