September 5, 2025: Whittier, CA 90604 Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host California Condors (Whittier, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lakewood improves its record to 6-13 on the season. The Lancers travel to El Modena (Orange, CA) to encounter the Vanguards in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Vanguards go into the test with a record of 1-4. El Modena lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA)
The Condors now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Amat for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. California will meet a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 13-2.
