The Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting St. Mary's Saints (Raleigh, NC), 3-1 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, North Raleigh Christian Academy achieved victory over Durham Academy (Durham, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
