Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks face the Green Mountain Rams (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Mead will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Brighton (Brighton, CO).
