September 6, 2023: Tyngsborough, MA 01879 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA) and the visiting Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA), saw Greater Lowell Tech's volleyball squad beat Dracut by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Greater Lowell Tech upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Gryphons host Academy of Notre Dame (Tyngsborough, MA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Academy of Notre Dame lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA)
The Middies now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Malden for a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. Dracut will play a Golden Tornados squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Medford (Medford, MA). The Golden Tornados record now stands at 1-0.
