September 26, 2023: Billerica, MA 01821 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams (Billerica, MA) and the visiting Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA), saw Shawsheen Valley Tech's volleyball squad beat Greater Lowell Tech by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Shawsheen Valley Tech upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Rams host Wilmington (Wilmington, MA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, September 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Wilmington lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Melrose (Melrose, MA)
The Gryphons now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Mystic Valley Regional for a Commonwealth Upper bout on Thursday, September 28. Greater Lowell Tech will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Innovation Academy (Tyngsborough, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
