Pennsylvania High School Football - Greensburg Central Catholic sneaks past Apollo Ridge

September 6, 2024: Spring Church, PA 15686

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions football squad scored a close 28-21 triumph over the Apollo Ridge Vikings.

The Centurions (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Clairton (Clairton, PA). The Bears come into the WPIAL A Eastern match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Clairton tipped Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 50-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Vikings meet the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Apollo Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 37-13 non-league loss to South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA).
