Iowa High School Football - Tri-Center nudges Treynor
September 6, 2024: Treynor, IA 51575 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Tri-Center Trojans football squad scored a close 27-21 triumph over the Treynor Cardinals.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their match against West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Spartans come into the A District 8 match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, West Monona was nudged by St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA), 41-20, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Cardinals confront the Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Treynor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 46-0 non-league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, IA).
