Georgia High School Softball - Union Grove bounces Jackson
September 6, 2024: Jackson, GA 30233 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) and the host Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA), observed Union Grove's softball team notch a victory over Jackson by a tally of 18-4.
The Wolverines (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 16-0 record. In their last bout, East Coweta gained a win over Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, September 10. Jackson will attempt to advance on its 1-14 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 13-1 league win over Rutland (Macon, GA).
