Georgia High School Softball - East Coweta bounces Union Grove
September 6, 2024: Sharpsburg, GA 30277 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) and the visiting Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), observed East Coweta's softball team notch a victory over Union Grove by a tally of 8-0.
The Indians (18-0) will now prepare for their bout against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers go into the 6A Region 2 bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Chapel Hill was routed by Alexander (Douglasville, GA), 6-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) in a 4A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, September 10. Union Grove will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 9-1 league loss to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA).
