Georgia High School Softball - McIntosh sneaks past Union Grove

September 11, 2024: Peachtree City, GA 30269

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host McIntosh Chiefs softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the Union Grove Wolverines.

The Chiefs (15-6) will now prepare for their match against Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Panthers come into the 5A Region 3 match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Langston Hughes was nipped by Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA), 13-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Wolverines confront the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) in a 4A Region 2 match, on Thursday, September 12. Union Grove will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 16-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA).
