Georgia High School Softball - McIntosh bounces Locust Grove

August 17, 2024: Peachtree City, GA 30269

In Saturday's non-league match, the host McIntosh Chiefs softball team scored a nice 18-3 win over the Locust Grove Wildcats.

The Chiefs (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Vikings come into the 5A Region 3 match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Northgate notched a victory over Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA), 6-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) in a 4A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, August 20. Locust Grove will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 15-0 league loss to Ola (McDonough, GA).
