New York High School Football - Kellenberg Memorial thwarts Fordham Prep
September 6, 2025: Bronx, NY 10458 Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY), 28-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Kellenberg Memorial improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Firebirds travel to St. John the Baptist (West Islip, NY) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Rams now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anthony's for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Fordham Prep will play a Friars team coming off a 40-28 non-league win over St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY). The Friars record now stands at 1-0.
