New York High School Football - Kellenberg Memorial thwarted by St. Joseph-by-the-Sea
October 18, 2025: Uniondale, NY 11553 St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY), 40-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Xavier (New York, NY) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, October 25. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-2.
With the defeat, Kellenberg Memorial drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Firebirds host St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY) to face the Terriers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 25. The Terriers go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. St. Francis Prep won 60-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Holy Trinity (Hicksville, NY)
