New Mexico High School Soccer - Carlsbad toppled by New Mexico Military Institute
September 6, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Mexico Military Institute advances its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Colts host Artesia (Artesia, NM) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-2. Artesia won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM)
With the loss, Carlsbad moves to 1-5 on the year. The Cavemen/cavegirls host Goddard (Roswell, NM) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. The Rockets come into the game with a record of 2-8. Goddard 3-3 in their recent non-league game against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM)
