The Berthoud Spartans softball squad (Berthoud, CO), was routed 15-0 in Saturday's non-league bout with the visiting Fort Collins Lambkins (Fort Collins, CO)

The Lambkins (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Windsor (Windsor, CO). The Wizards go into the 5A/4A Northern bout with a 11-1 record. In their last bout, Windsor knocked off Holy Family (Broomfield, CO), 10-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Thompson Valley Eagles (Loveland, CO) in a 4A/3A Longs Peak bout, on Tuesday, September 9. Berthoud will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 18-6 league loss to Timnath (Timnath, CO).
