Louisiana High School Volleyball - Central Lafourche can't get by Barbe
September 6, 2025: Raceland, LA 70394 Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Barbe advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Notre Dame lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA)
Next, the Trojans play the Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Central Lafourche will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Assumption (Napoleonville, LA).
