September 6, 2025: Gainesville, GA 30501 The Cherokee Bluff Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Gainesville Red Elephants to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Hall for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Cherokee Bluff will play a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, Gainesville falls to 14-8 on the year. The Red elephants host Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to confront the Longhorns in a 5A Area 7 game on Tuesday, September 9. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 13-9. Lanier lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Seckinger (Buford, GA)
